Biotech-Huntersestiny - Chapter 10 : Straight Ahead

[Model M] had learned from CORE that [Model S] and [Model F] were killed by [Model C]. He immediately went to work creating a giant Battle Machine in which to protect himself and [Model E]. One week later, this machine was complete and active. [Model M] left the village and headed inside of the Arka-Nui Ruins to seek out [Model C], while cradling the near lifeless form of [Model E] in one arm.
 
[Model E].. I will protect you now. We will end this together! thought [Model M]. He glanced over at [Model E]. Her green eyes were wide open, but glazed over as she was staring into nothingness. We will kill [Model C], then find a way to avenge [Model X]. Then we can go someplace far away and live peacefully. thought [Model M] as he trudged into the darkness of the city.
 
[Telos] headquarters
 
Numerous figures were gathered around a central canister. The canister itself was empty, but it bared the number 9 on it.
 
"I am thankful that all of you could gather together on such short notice." said [Model G] "As you can see, I have acquired the life force of one of the [Arkahn] descendants within this container."
 
A blue and silver female warrior was shoved forwards by [Model A] and [Model L]. Her armor was scarred and damaged in numerous places, yet her expression remained fierce and determined.
 
"This female, is the only survivor that knows the whereabouts of [Arkahn], making her existence irreplaceable." continued [Model G]. "If we were to extract that location, combined with the power of the 9th descended [Arkahn], [Telos] could rebuild it's credibility as a company and regain the trust of the people. Without further delay, I present [Lord GreyHaven], our chief engineer."
 
A brutish being stepped out of the shadows. He was clad in black and green, looking patched together in most places. He had a spine that stuck out of his crooked back and a launcher built into one arm.
 
"Forgive my appearance, but it was necessary for my personal safety that I no longer maintain my old form." said [Lord GreyHaven].
 
[Lord GreyHaven] walked over to where the female warrior lay. "Now, are you going to tell us where [Arkahn] is hiding?" asked [Lord GreyHaven].
 
The warrior looked up. She met [Lord GreyHaven]'s eyes with a look of pure disgust. "I refuse to tell anything to a traitor like you." she stated.
 
[Lord GreyHaven] laughed. It was a hollow and metallic sound that seemed to send shivers through the air. "I'm afraid you don't have any say in this matter, [Alia]." laughed [Lord GreyHaven].
 
[Alia] looked up shocked and enraged but she quickly lowered her gaze back to the floor. "There is nothing you can gain from me." she said quietly.
 
[Lord GreyHaven] sighed. "Very well, I will take her to my lab and forcibly remove her memory."
 
Just as [Lord GreyHaven] grabbed the chains around her throat, she took two blades off of her helmet and hurled them right at the canister. One blade pierced deep into the canister, the second one hit the first one, jarring it loose. With the blade loose, the pressure inside the canister was released in the form of all of the glass breaking at once, spilling the contents of the canister onto the floor.
 
[Model G] was the first to recover from the shock. "Kill them!" he roared.
 
Taking the initiative, [Lord GreyHaven] pulled a device out of himself, and activated it. With he click of a button, All the floors down to the first floor exploded with shaped explosives, specifically creating a path from where [Lord GreyHaven] was currently, to an escape route on the first floor.
 
Once the dust had settled, it revealed the commotion within [Telos]. Guards were running around, securing various perimeters, clients where securing their investments, and amongst all the chaos, [Model G] was perched upon his throne, with [Model A], [Model L] and [Model C] awaiting orders.
 
"Whats done is done." said [Model G]. "It's clear to me now that those two have been working together the whole time. I would not have suspected a plan that spanned over 400 years, and even involved being captured. We lost this one. Our attempt to speed up the birth of [Arkahn] has been thwarted. We have no choice but to follow the original plan laid out by [Arkahn] himself."
 
"Will we chase [Lord GreyHaven] and [Alia]?" asked [Model C] hopefully.
 
"Finally showing an interest in our plan, dog of [Telos]?" said [Model L].
 
"I go where the killing goes. The higher ups are too busy worrying about where the next [Arkahn] will show up, leaving me with nothing fun." said [Model C]
 
"Fine, but prove your worth. You have a bug following you. If you can extinguish that bug and bring his lady, we'll let you in on a few things. Fail us again, and you'll be my personal toy. Sound fair? ♪" asked [Model L] playfully.
 
"I'll go kill the last of the IX series then." said [Model C] as he stalked out of the room, blood lust in his eyes.
 
"Excellent. one less annoyance." said [Model G]. "With [Mythos] out of our way, and [Model C] going after CORE, there isn't a better time to strike. Ascension..will be ours!!"
